Where have you been?

I found that when I write for a blog I feel I have to explain away the gaps in my blog’s history. Especially when the gap is as huge as this one.

In this case its easy to explain.

I had some bad news and I didn’t have time to write. My son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.

But now we have got to a stage where we are managing it so I’m back on the blog. Hopefully, my expression of what its like to have a child with type 1 diabetes will help other people in a similar situation.

This will not distract from the tales of everyday life in a family of 7 and I hope you still enjoy my little stories as much as I enjoy writing them.
